In June of 2011 I was approached by World Soccer magazine and offered the opportunity to write a season preview for 2011/12 from a Notts County perspective for their Football 2012 special issue. The half page submission was printed upon publication in August 2011.

Prior to the 2012/13 season, I was again approached by World Soccer to compile the piece for the season preview which was printed in July 2012.

Well regarded monthly publication Four Four Two have twice called upon me to contribute to features that would be used in their magazine. First was a piece about about the best and worst foreigners in the English game in April 2012, and then a Top 50 Football League Players article in May 2012.

As part of their 2012/13 season preview, I was asked to cover the Notts County side of things for them.

During the pre-season leading up to the 2012/13 season, Nottingham entertainment and lifestyle magazine Left Lion to be their Notts County writer for the new campaign. My first piece for them was a season preview for issue #48 (viewable online here). I will soon begin writing the monthly Notts roundups for their website also.

Early in September 2011, I was asked by James Pallatt of The Nottingham Post if I would be interested in writing a 400-word piece for the Notts perspective from a game with Walsall. I have since produced ten submissions printed in their Monday sports section – the most recent was dated Monday, April 30th 2012.

At the beginning of the 2012/13 season, I set about producing a new hard copy Notts County fanzine where supporters other than myself would be able to share their thoughts on what was happening at the club.

Issue One went on sale at the end of August 2012 and sold out all 250 copies within one week. Issue Two is set to launch at the beginning on November 2012.

On occasion I have been asked to provide a brief 150-200 word writeup by national Sunday release The League Paper from a Notts County perspective. I have to date produced eight submissions, with the most recent dated Sunday, March 4th, 2012.

Following the September 2011 trip to Turin for Notts County’s game with Juventus, I was asked by the club to produce an article detailing my experiences for their matchday programme. I have since produced further submissions, most notably a season review piece for the final edition of the 2011/12 season.

Prior to Notts County’s game with Scunthorpe United in November 2011, their sports editor Chris Sumpter did a question and answer session with myself regarding Notts. The article was printed on Thursday, November 24th and took up nearly an entire page.

Prior to the opening of the Juventus Arena, I was asked by the Calcio GP newspaper in Turin, Italy to answer a few questions that the Juve fans might have had about Notts County. The piece featured in their issue dated September 5th 2011 and was followed a week later with the printing of my open letter.

When Notts County travelled to Somerset in 2011, I was asked by Yeovil Town’s press officer to do a question and answer session for the matchday programme. The full page was printed in their magazine Green & White for the game on December 10th 2011.

Prior to Notts County’s game against Colchester United in 2012, United’s press officer contacted me for a question and answer piece regarding the current season. The piece was printed in the We Are United matchday programme for the game on November 6th, 2012.
