Hi my name is Stu, and TheNottsBlog is my way of trying to make sense of all ridiculous goings on at Meadow Lane – a blog about Notts County FC, about to enter it’s third incarnation in time for the 2012/13 season.

The maintaining of this blog has helped me to recover a love for journalism that I had held onto after leaving school in 1998, but which I had lost over the following years. It has given me a long missing focus in my life, a focus that now drives me towards my goal of a career in journalism.

My work has earned me recognition from esteemed companies such as ITV, The Guardian and World Soccer magazine, whilst Notts County FC themselves now have me writing blogs on occasions for them for both their website and matchday programmes. The work I have undertaken is available for viewing from the portfolio page here.
