Welcome back to your irregular Notts County blogging-related programming.
I took some time off from writing to rebuild things from the ground up. In future there’ll be more interviews, more features, some guest writers, competitions – basically just more things that’ll make the site worth visiting.
To catch up with last year, there’s three pieces assembled. Firstly, a look into Martin Allen’s reign at the end of the 2010/11 season. There’s then a look at the highs and lows of last year – followed by a statistical breakdown of the campaign. Not pleasant reading (or writing) for the most part!
Then there’s three new interviews. I’ve had the opportunity to chat with local author Luke Williamson (plus the chance to win a signed copy of Luke’s book “I Had A Wheelbarrow“, Notts legend Andy Legg (where you can also enter to win one of two family tickets for the Selco Midlands Masters), and again was able to grab a word with Notts Chairman Ray Trew who was more than happy to talk about the past 12 months at Meadow Lane, and look into the future.
And at midday this Friday (July 1st) there’ll be the first of a new angle i’m running on here, where i’ll speak to supporters from opposition clubs, to get their take on our fixtures both pre and post-match. This will kick off ahead of Saturday’s double-header at both Ilkeston FC and Hucknall Town.
Hope you’ll enjoy what’s on offer and maybe consider bookmarking the site for future reference. Thanks for reading.
