Top Of The League

A night spent in front of Sky Sports News with the human personality vacuum Will Chamberlain has left us top of the league it would seem!

Thought it was pushing our luck to hope for FOUR straight matchdays of perfect results, but bar Rotherham’s win over Northampton, things could not have gone better.

A 3-1 win against ten-man Lincoln City, now-relegated Darlington’s (astounding) win over Rochdale at Spotland, and Rotherham’s win over Northampton are the three key results of the evening, if only because Rotherham’s victory means County’s promotion party must now wait until Saturday against Morecambe…and i can be there!

It’s hard to talk too much about tonight’s events at Meadow Lane without me being there, so i won’t harp on too much. But i can say i’m pleased to hear outgoing Luke Rodgers was given the captain’s armband for his cameo at the end.

Just a beautiful night. That league table looks pretty special. Now i’m a believer…this is now title race!

And how bizarre that we share the surname as well! Will add your blog to my links.
